Welcome to LGCPA Professional Corporation (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, products, and professional accounting, tax, and advisory services (“Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.'

We provide professional accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, and advisory services, including but not limited to:

• Preparation and filing of personal and corporate tax returns
   
• Bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
   
• Payroll and HST/GST compliance
   
• Business advisory, tax planning, and consulting
   
• CRA representation and audit support
   

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time without prior notice.

You agree to:

• Use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable Canadian federal and provincial laws and regulations.
   
• Provide complete, accurate, and timely information necessary for us to perform our Services.
   
• Not use our Services for fraudulent or misleading purposes.
   

We may decline or withdraw Services if information is incomplete, misleading, or if compliance with laws cannot be maintained.

As our client, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all information and documentation provided is accurate and complete.
   
• Retaining copies of all documents and records submitted to us.
   
• Meeting filing deadlines by providing information in a timely manner.
   
• Understanding that ultimate responsibility for tax filings remains with you, the taxpayer.
   

• All fees for Services are due as outlined in your engagement letter, invoice, or proposal.
   
• Late payments may result in interest charges or suspension of Services.
   
• Fees are non-refundable once Services have been rendered.
   
• We reserve the right to withhold final filings or documents until payment is received in full.
   

By opting in to our SMS program, you agree to receive text messages related to our Services.

Opt-Out & Support:

• You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the shortcode. We will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive messages from us.

• If you experience issues, reply with HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at {support email address or toll-free number}.
   

Carrier & Charges:

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
   
• Standard message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you.
   
• Message frequency may vary depending on your engagement with our Services.

We maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with professional standards set by CPA Ontario and applicable privacy legislation. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

All training materials, tools, templates, and proprietary content created by us remain our intellectual property. Documents specifically prepared for your business (e.g., tax returns, financial statements) become your property upon full payment.

Our Services are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses due to:

• Reliance on information provided by you that was inaccurate or incomplete.
   
• Late submission of documents or information resulting in penalties or interest from tax authorities.
   
• Events beyond our reasonable control.
   

Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. Fees for Services performed up to the date of termination remain payable. Upon termination, you must cease use of any proprietary materials provided and settle any outstanding amounts.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
